Compared to MX410, C310 trades slower pictures and text documents to producing graphics and PowerPoint presentations faster. Unlike ESP 5, the input and output trays are on the opposite side of the device, and the 100 sheet input tray on the backbends over the scanner lid when not in use – we prefer the Canon Pixma MX410 automatic document feeder folds, which provide a view that leaner to the engine. It can scan, print, and copy, but you don’t get an automatic document feeder, so you have to hold scanning for large stacks of documents or take photos on a sheet-by-sheet basis. DesignĮSP C310 has a relatively small footprint compared to other multifunction printers.
Still, we recommend you spend $ 100 on the Canon Pixma MX410 instead – you will get a more flexible and attractive imaging device that even has an automatic document feeder and other shortcut keys at the control panel. The entry-level C310 can register decent print speed and accessible wireless settings. We are disappointed with the quality of the manufacturing of the Kodak ESP 5, and Kodak seems to struggle with the same problem with this model.
